This computer is an HP Pavilion dv[removed phone]dx with a 14.1" HD screen for a great balance of video viewing and mobility, a 2.20 GHz dual-core processor for fact multi-tasking, 4 GB of memory for performance, and a 250 GB hard drive that can hold plenty of pictures and many days of music. The operating system has been upgraded to Windows 7, which has great new features a and a clean, intuitive interface. It comes with security software preinstalled so you won't have to worry!
I have used this computer for school for about two years and would recommend it for academic or personal use. Its performance is quite satisfactory even when using sophisticated mathematical and statistical software, so you can certainly count on it to run everyday applications without a hitch. It has distinctive look that gets many compliments, so you will feel good using it around your friends and out in public.
The screen and the power cord have recently been replaced, so you should be able to count on them for the foreseeable future. This model tends to overheat with heavy use, so I recommend using a cooling pad with it. In general, the computer is in standard used condition with only a few minor flaws. The F11 key is missing and the left click key has been slightly damaged, but both are still usable with little or no inconvenience. These issues were taken into consideration in setting the asking price.
