Australian Shepherd

I can't tell you how much this breaks my heart. Rambo is a sweet, loyal Aussie. I adopted him when I was at a place in my life where I could handle a high energy dog. He will do best in the country maybe on a farm. This breed needs exercise like food and water, and he cannot live in an apartment. I don't think he would do well with children but likes other pups and does well with our cat. He loves to play fetch and play with his Kong.Aussies are not good First Dogs. I would like his new home to have a history of dog ownership and an understanding about dog etiquette/training techniques.Rambo can sit, "stick em up" and drops at "bang." He is very smart and these dogs love learning tricks. More than anything they love having a job or a purpose; they are working dogs. Rambo needs to look after something or train agility. More than anything he needs space to run.He will do just about anything to please you and is very sweet, although shy at first, which is typical of the breed. Please read if interested in adopting, Rambo is a textbook Aussie and this all pretty much applies to him:http://www.asca.org/aboutaussies/personalityandcharacterHe has no papers. He is neutered. 2 1/2 years old, so most of the crazy puppy stuff is gone. I can provide vaccine records. He is housebroken to a fault and will lick you and carry on and get on your nerves until you let him out. He does like to eat garbage, though; a covered can keeps him out. He comes with a crate and some toys. He is microchipped and I have the account information.Small rehoming fee applies, although negotiable for the right home. I'm not looking for someone to flip my friend.I will travel to you.-Emily
